Blocking YouTube Recommendations

This is something I first saw Cliff Weitzman do. He blocked all the recommendations on YouTube so he doesn't get distracted. There's a bunch of chrome extension made for that purpose but chrome extensions are pretty crazy in the amount of information and purposes they can get from your device so we will be using a popular adblocker for this.

Download UBlockOrigin

You can download the ublockorigin chrome extension or firefox extension from the extension store. It's the one with tens of millions of downloads and many reviews.

Click the Syringe looking icon

Click 'create' on the bottom right to block the element.

That's basically it. If you want to use the settings that I use to block various elements on YouTube, you can copy and paste the following into the 'My filters' section in the settings of the uBlockOrigin chrome extension.
