Elon Musk Changing Twitter Bluebird Logo to Dogecoin (and back)

Yet another post about Elon Musk. I have written way too many posts about the stuff he is doing. Blame him for causing controversy and being too involved with crypto and pumping tesla stock. I have added up the number of times I have mentioned him in blog posts and its currently at 37 posts. Considering I have written 167 posts (including this one), that’s a lot. This is about his recent dogecoin antics.

On the 3rd of April, Twitter changed the Twitter Logo on the top left of the Twitter website and on the loading page to a picture of Doge.

Once this change was rolled to Twitter users , $DOGE started to skyrocket. It went up 23% in the first hour. Then another up to another 12%. In total the price of Dogecoin increased from 7.6 cents to 10.5 cents. An increase of 38% in just two hours.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t participate in this buffoonery due to Twitter publishing this change at around 2 am UTC +8.

Immediately after the change, Elon started to post Doge memes and suggest that this Twitter logo change was something that was not just an 2 days late April fools joke.

The story ends with Twitter changing the Twitter logo back from a picture of Doge to the iconic bluebird.

Turns out Elon fired so many engineers from Twitter that changing the logo from bluebird to doge for an April Fools joke was delayed by 2 entire days.

What’s interesting about this is that on chainooors noticed that several of the top Dogecoin wallets reduced their positions by 1.4B Doge ($121M). No concrete evidence to suggest these wallets are linked to Elon but just some speculation floating around about Elon being a large dogecoin whale dumping on his followers based on timings of whale wallet transactions and Elon tweets.

Overall, just another Elon doge pump and full retrace candle. His power and grasp of Dogecoin continues to dwindle. From multiple x returns to 37% pumps for a huge news such as changing Twitter logo to Doge that gets retraced in 3 days. Next Elon tweet to really influence Doge is probably a crypto wallet integration with Dogecoin or something. Until then, bleed only.
