I don't read that many books on finance and money.
I avoid them like the plague because I don't want to read something that everyone else is reading about finance and think the same.
Then I watched the David Perell How I Write Podcast with Morgan Housel and found his way of writing admirable. Thus, I had no choice but to read his book to learn from his way of writing.
Morgan Housel has a strong focus on brevity and making the reading experience great.
Each chapter is distinct from other chapters and he makes it easy for people to skip around without missing any details.
This book is a collection of short stories from history that teaches fundamental lessons when it comes to thinking about money. It features all the legends of financial history you would expect like Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger, Jesse Livermore and tons more.
While the lessons themselves were not new or groundbreaking for me, the packaging of ideas is wonderful and I can see this being a great book even for a complete beginner to finance and investing or even reading.
Overall, would strongly recommend. Not because it changed my worldview but because it was a joy to read.
